Wikipedia now allows people to edit a live, navigable map of the world shot by satellite!

Wikimapia is a lot better than Google Maps, now most buildings are labeled properly. You can zoom to very small scale. I "travelled" from my home, following roads and highways, to Malacca in Malaysia without any problem! There are many landmarks to guide me.




This is currently the best travel guide you can find.
