Everyday when I look through my office glass window, I hav a bird's eye view of the rapid development of Singapore very 1st ferris wheel, standing at an amazing height of 165metres equivalent to 45 storeys building. It has since completed and slated to surpass the world tallest observation wheel standing at 135metres, the British Airways London Eye.

In my opinion, our S'pore flyer shares many distinct resemblance of that of the Eye. Though the design originated by an eminent Japanese architect who was inspired by London Eye and Eiffel Tower. I think it is a no-brainer to produce such a design. There's no novelty in the design and does not have a Singapore or Asia's incorporation. I'm not suggesting to paint the flyer in red but at least some other innovative design will be refreshing. S'pore flyer capsule is slightly elongated than Eye and was ergonically designed, UV protective and wheel chair friendly....well, a picture says a thousand words. Be the judge!

I have a friend who once mentioned that she desired to hold a wedding in London eye's capsule. She reckoned it is the most romantic venue that she can ever think of. Located in River Thames and hav a panoramic view of Big Ben, Eros, Tower of London. All these historical buildings are already mind-blowing experience. Needless to say, she does not hav to go far for such an experience. However, I stll feel the S'pore skyline is uncomparable to Big Ben and Tower of London.

The cost of traveling on S'pore capsule does not come cheap. The cheapest adult fare for the 37minutes ride is at $29.90 and booking of one capsule is at $1,000 (off-peak) and $1,500 (peak). Comparatively, Eye's cheapest adult fare is at
14.90 for a 30minutes journey and capsule fee's at 1,700 (weekdays) and 2,000 (weekends).

I sincerely hope that Singapore flyer can justify its creation by banking in even more than 3.5mil passengers visiting the London Eye annually. Forget us not! another such huge investment, the F1 formula race may be upcoming. Hope these ventures are not costing taxpayers money going down the drain. Cross your fingers, guys!
