Tiring of the city life in Singapore? It's time to relax and have a light outdoor activity at HSBC TreeTop Walk at Macritchie Reservoir!! Last weekend a few of us sweat ourselves to "crawl" up the treetop bridge at Macritchie, old men like us took the shortest walk path from Venus Drive carpark near Upper Thomson Road (see map below). Being long time never in touch with the nature, this is really a relaxing & enjoying journey where you can get rid of the city noise and recharge your battery with fresh oxygen & sunlight!
The tree top free-standing suspension bridge connects the two highest points, Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang in MacRitchie. You may catch a nice view of the community of plants and animals that live in the forest canopy. The total length of the walkway is about 250m and its height from the forest floor varies, with the highest point at 27m. The gate will be closed at 5pm sharp, so please be early!!
There is a Ranger Station about 0.5KM before the TreeTop Bridge, we rested for a while and lucky enough to?snapshot some of the wild?animals!
Catch some other pictures that I took along the way...
