I went for a hair cut yesterday at Hougang Mall's Twister hair salon. Twister falls under Monsoon, opened by some celebrity here in Singapore. There are quite a few branches around the entire red dot. Got to admit that not only the hairstylists there are really pro, their warm attitude towards customers – You can never see them neither complain or flare up to them no matter how picky one customer can gets.

For instance, I was killing time (while waiting for my hairstylist to attend to me) that I observed one customer who came later than me, but with a different hairstylist practically pacifying to her needs. I guess pretty much she had some event to go for later in the night as she was all dress up. Upon hearing to her expectations to style her hair with the way she wants seems pretty chim for me. But the patient hairstylist tries his best to meet her expectations with his skills. Blowing dry and styling her hair was one hurdle for him to take as she has so many comments to make.

After waiting for half hour, it was my turn for my hairstylist to trim up my hair length, I was still looking at that customer fiddling with her fringe (note that her hairdo was already done up neatly) for like 15mins before deciding to get the hairstylist to redo the fringe part. I was like so amazed with it and started telling my hairstylist abt it, “Your colleague so poor thing, can tahan that customer?” She just laughed and said, “Bo bian, we must lun one, if not no one will want to come and do their hair here already.”

What she explained really make sense. I was quite impressed with that poor hairstylist though. There was feedback that he was one of the pro hairdo stylists. Good stuff man. My hairstylist did extra stuff for my hair too – making it temporary straight without charging this service. I guess the reason is that I supported her?

Maybe you guys should go there and take a look. Cut, wash, blow = $19.90. At 4th level. Check it out. :D
