I think I took thiz shot @ the Rafflez Place station.


While waiting for the MRT...we all wisH to sit down comfortably and simply wait.

For several months or even longer...this kind of slanted waiting benches have been installed at lotzA MRT stations....intended to increase the waiting benches.

However, when I try to sit on it.....i tend to slide down leH!!! it iz very slippery loh....wonder whAt'z on SMRT'z mind to chooze such a desigN?

i am a normAl sized person....1.66m, 57kg, and my toez can still kindA touch the ground while seated on the bench, but the irritAting sliding down iz still unavoidAble.

thus, I would rather just stand, or sit on the normal bench, and looK! no one wanted to sit on the bench so, I could take the photo of it above.....all the seats around me were taken, and we all sat on the lower "mArble" benches @ Raffles Place station.

hahAa...thiZ soundz like a complAiny revieW....duH!

thinK....the bencH iz only for people who are very tAll.........so they cAn stop themselvez froM slidinG by supporting themselvez with both feet steadily on the flooR while seated; OR it will be for people with rougH bumZ....hahAaa......

they've changed Wednesday, 02 January 2008 - Written by banwei Finally they have changed the seats, it is lowered now & you can easily sit on it.     It was reported in the news that more than 100 people complaint to SMRT.
