I just finished this book - Marley and me. It was recommended by a friend, as she said that she 'laughed and cried while reading the book'. I've been some sort of a bookworm since young, and i haven't come across a book that really made me laugh and cry. Intrigued, i went into Times bookshop yesterday and bought the book. I started reading at around midnight and had to literally slap my hands away from the book, to go to sleep. Just halfway through the book, i've laughed, giggled and shed a few tears over it, I woke up this morning and the first thing i did (after brushing my teeth, haha) was to pick up the book and continue. More laughter and i was positively sobbing near the end. My eyes are kinda swollen now, from all the crying. Unbelievable. All these, from a book about the world's worst dog. You would never believe such a spastic dog exists, till you read the book. Yet, he's so... lovable. Not very so in the beginning, but i dare say the couple's effort of keeping him paid off. He proved himself a worthy companion. Marley makes a person wants a dog in a home.
