This is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best films this year, and a strong competitor for the Oscar (Academy Awards) Nominations. This is one of those films that you could call clean and complete. The attention to every detail is outstanding, which includes cinematography, set decoration, make up, costumes, and of course acting, production and direction.
The portrayal of Eisenhower by the fantastic Ed Norton, brings back all that power that he had his audience used to, just like in Primal Fear, American History X, Fight Club, among others. I would be surprised if he doesn't join the other 4 nominated actors this year in the Academy Awards.
Neil Burger has really amazed me as Writer/Director of this masterpiece. I would definitely keep my eyes open to see more of his movies.
In short, brilliant and magnificent are some of the adjectives that come to my mind when I think of this movie. Houdini, Copperfield and now Eisenhower. Fantastic!
