Anyone of you here plays the piano? Still learning piano? Teaching other people the basics of playing the piano? Or rather trying to play the piano on your own? For those of you who are clueless about what is it like when playing the piano, perhaps let me just share with you my experience by teaching my junior for the past few months. From a person who knows nuts about musical notes and lacking the sense of rhythm beat, to someone who knows how to play those evergreen classical pieces like canon in d, sundial dreams or even latest pop songs in no time. Amazing? Actually I’m totally impressed by his determination of learning this particular skill. At first I thought that it’ll be a great challenge to teach someone who is considered rough? As well as popular among girls. Moreover, we did not know each other that well too. But things did not go as bad as it seems. He identifies all the notes really fast and twinkle twinkle little star was the start off piece that he had learnt for the very first lesson. Seeing the way how he adores the piano, I can feel that he is definitely enjoying piano accompaniment. Each time when he gets his notes right, the amount of satisfaction; even I myself can feel it for him. He always seems so eager to inform to me whenever he managed to perform to his mom or his friends. The tone in his voice is purely happiness and appreciated. I bet he has gone melting other girls’ heart in the meantime. A sense of achievement? You bet. To play a nice piano piece out, it is always up to the pianist of whether he/she wants to play it well. To play a piano piece filled with expression is just like being able to climb to the peak of the mountain. Words just cannot describe how much effort you actually put in perfect the piece on the piano. Go on, start learning piano and try it!
