''A person's a person, no matter how small''. This was the verse that Horton, the elephant keeps on emphasizing and is the moral of the story. Horton hears a Who is a rather educational animated film that captures the heart of many children and adults. In this show, Horton, an imaginative elephant, heard a scream of help from a speck. He decided that there were people living in the speck and he placed it on a clover where he attempted to talk to the people living in it. After much efforts, he got into contact with Ned, the mayor of Whoville and began his quest to bring the speck to a safe place where the people of Whoville can live happily. The bad guy or in this case woman of the show is a kangaroo which feels that Horton is being a bad influence to the kids by saying things that are outrageous - a speck with people living in it. Hence, she seeks ways to destroy the clover and the speck. They further emphasize the moral of the story when all the people of Whoville work together to attempt to create a sound so that their existence can be made known to them. They emphasized that everyone is important and every voice counts. When Jo jo, Ned's son, uses the horn to project his voice and cause them to be heard by the other animals, it really highlights on the moral of ''A person's a person, no matter how small''. I felt that the movie was pretty interesting. The imagination part of the show was fantastic. Imagine that there is someone much bigger, looking at us from high high up above, and we are just really tiny creatures to them.. that would have been so intriguing. The show was definitely made more enjoyable by the voices of Jim Carrey and Steve Carell as Horton and Ned respectively.
