I watched Forbidden Kingdom yesterday, through persuasion from my mother. She's always been a fan of Jet Li and Jackie Chan, somewhat.

I was imagining a 3 hour kung-fu movie like crouching tiger hidden dragon. the twists and turns. lots of convulations.

but it wasn't! It was only 1.5hours!

I was truly entertained throughout the entire duration of the movie! The plot was pretty cool, i feel, and even non-fans like me can get hooked to the plot. The action moves and the meaning behind kung fu are just 'WHOA', ya know? I felt like I wanna learn kung fu too ! (of course, no luck. busy with the real world. haha!)

I give this movie the thumbs up for an engaging 1.5 hours!  The duration was just nice. Acting was pretty good, I feel. It is entertaining, funny, yet there's a zest of seriousness inside. The viewers will definitely 'feel' for the movie, good vs bad, the usual. But saving the Monkey King, now that's a new concept!

GO WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T! :)
