Before going to the movie, I thought, "Bruce Willis is old now, what kind of die hard stunts can he pull off?" Many aged actors and actresses did movie remake of or movie sequel to a previously very good movie they were starred and expect themselves to have the same glamour again. But most of them failed. Sharon Stone is one notable example.
Die Hard 4 is different. The movie intended to show Bruce Willis is old, but he still is capable of kicking butts. They did it successfully. The movie shows from time to time, Bruce Willis is an outdated father, listens to old music, talks about the past, does things in old fashion. He has absolutely no knowledge of computer and internet technology. But, with the help of a young and brilliant hacker, the old Bruce Willis proves he never gets old.
This movie is full of stunts, from the beginning till the end. Some of them you couldn't have possibly imagined. Sexy Maggie Q is one of the stunt-woman. But unfortunately, she isn't one of the main characters.
The parts about hacking aren't too technical or too fanciful. It's a balanced mix, therefore believable and visualizable. The movie is great !
