The story is very simple..... I laughed a lot in the movie... It just brings back the memory when I was a "little" kid watching the cartoon on the television.
Storyline goes like this : Based on the 1980s cartoon series about a music group of chipmunks comprised of mischievous group leader Alvin; tall and quiet Simon; and chubby, impressionable Theodore. The Uncle Ian tried to use them as money spinner - country singing tours till the chipmunks cannot take it and miss their "home".....
I love the music and the christmas songs.....
Entertaining - 5 Stars ! The animation in the movie is superb. The morale of the story is that "at certain age in our life, we can only have limited privilage. And such restricted privilage is our own good." Such kind of of morale that singaporean are expose to. And always there is a bad guy out there. So when things seems to good to be true, and normally it is good to seek advice from others before you make the decision.
Uncle Ian starring by David Cross. A money-minded person. Alot of people like him that have alot of stress and do not slow down the pace to look at the people behind them. On the other hand, we never appreciate our "parents" to "save our money" for the rain days just like what Dave had done for the chipmunks - buying saving bonds......
Overall, the story is simple yet have a very meaning storyline and message to bring across the audience in this festive season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Last but not least, Thinks of the needy too. It is a thankgiving day.... My gal, Clara love the movie and she sat there quietly watched the movie.
