Dined in this Turkish restaurant in Holland village last week for a lunch.
For the sake of my wallet, I just ordered one of their set lunch, the beef kebab set. Well, the set comes with a bowl of salad, beef kebab and a dessert. But dont look down on the portion, with this $18+ set (including tax), it was still too huge for me! First was a big bowl of salad, I think it was at least 2x of normal salad portion, and yet i MUST finish all since it was soooo delicious. It was actually just a simple mixture of cucumber, tomatoes and some veges but they managed to make a very nice salad sauce with it. Secondly was a plate of four cutted 15cm kebab plus a small bowl of super sour vege. Their kebab is a bit different from the one you normally see locally in Malay stalls, it was just plain beef slices wrapped like a popiah. Although it's simple, but it was delicious too. Lastly was a piece of Turkish chocolate cake, which i have forgot the name (something like Mossaic??). It was not as sweet as i tasted in Turkey actually, but just nice for local taste.
Generally, it's an authentic Turkish restaurant which serves foods quite suit to my taste :)
