Food is everywhere.  Even in a dynamic city like Singapore my craving for food is met at any time.  During my recent trip there, my Singapore friend brought me to this dessert house “
味香园甜品”.  It is somewhere nearby Chinatown.

When I stepped in, I noticed that this inviting Dessert House offers wonderful and clean atmosphere.  From the menu, there are plenty varieties on offer such as red bean paste, black sesame paste, peanut paste and etc.  Their customer service is good and the waiter is attentive too.

Taking up a recommendation by my friend; I ordered a bowl of ‘Mango Paste’.  Looking into the bowl, I have second thoughts when I see the yellow, like chemical liquid inside.  No regrets, though.  I give it two thumbs up.  It is delicious, the mango is fresh and taste good and their condiments are superb.  I reckon that it is made from fresh, quality ingredients to ensure a sweet experience like no other.  I have yet to taste better Mango Paste.  Simply lovely, try it once, and you will want more.

yes, this is a must-go place everytime I
go Chinatown. My daughter loves the mango puree with pamelo dessert and steam carrot cake; always order them without fail. I will always go for their walnut paste coz it's aromatic and superb unlike others, always blend and watery. Always tell myself to try other items in my next visit but still ended up walnut paste (I love walnut). There was even once I ordered 2 bowls of desserts and they really satisfied me . They actually have another outlet in a food court in Hougang but havent try yet so not sure abt their quality.
