I was shopping around at Queensway Ikea the other day, and i went to the ABC market nearby for dinner. I like the place, got 2 large hawker centres within walking distances, plus one food court opposite at Anchor Point.
While at the ABC market, i came across this chicken rice stall with a large sign board with many recommendations from various "makan authorities", haha
The drink stall beside it bears the same signboard too, so i guess it's from the same owner. Looks like it must be doing good and taste good to open 2 stalls, hmmm....
The price also a bit strange, $2.30 a plate. How come the extra 30 cents, so odd. It only got white chicken, no roast chicken.
It comes with a plate of chicken and a separate plate of rice. The rice looks good and tastes good, not too oily, just right for me.
I really like the chicken meat, although it's only breast meat, it is really tender. Really Good! Accompanied with the sauce, it tastes quite good too. However, when i tried to taste the sauce by itself, it's really damn salty. The soup is not very good, a bit too much MSG.
Overall, i think the chicken rice is still quite good, considering the meat is really tender and fresh, worth a try!
