This is one hokkien mee stall really worth recommending. After someone recommended it on one if the sunday's Lian He Zao Bao, it gets even more famous, with the significantly longer queues. Last time i eat at this stall no need to queue one....
Btw, it's located in the Market's Hawker Centre along Ang Mo Kio ave 10 near Ang Mo Kio Ave 3, and there are also many other recommended stalls over there.
Whether you are eating there or taking away, you gotta queue, which i really don't like. No choice, their business is really too good. Queueing time is around 15 to 20 minutes if the queue is not too ridiculously long, cos they fry in batches. So if you missed the batch, you gotta wait twice the time.
After around 20minutes, i finally got my food! I think the portion is quite small for a $2.50 plate, should have order a $3 one.
Nevertheless, the taste is really there. It's not the too wet type but it is decently wet enough to whet your appetite. Looks a bit healthier also with lesser gravy, haha.
But i think the gravy is really infused into the noodles already, which accounts for how come it tastes so good.
Only got 2 prawns for my $2.50 plate.
The noodles are really good, but i'd say the chilli are incredibly too spicy for my taste.
This is one Hokkien Mee stall you'd most definitely want to try!
