Last friday, i went to this Prata House at Upper Thomson Road fro dinner. It's written on the signboard that they are recommended by the new paper. I had tried the prata there a few years ago before, and still had good memories of the food. The shop is quite popular, and was always filled with lots of people having supper. And so, I ordered the plain prata and cheese prata, together with a plate of fried chicken and Tea Tarik. Costs me $5.70, and the chicken is $3. The prata is different from the normal prata you get at the market, this one is the crispy prata. As my friend told me, the crispy-ness is due to the fact of adding much more ghee, and he doesn't like the taste of it. For me, i can't tell the difference, i just like the crispy prata, but i would say, it's a bit too oily. Don't think i can stand eating too much of it.
I seriously don't like the chicken for what i paid, It's much smaller than i expected, and it looks very dry. Nevertheless, the taste makes up for it, but it's still a bit dry, better off buy kfc or just stick to the pratas.
