"The Original, The Only Outlet" Tau Sar Piah is located at Balestier Road. Not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but whenever iam there, there always be a queue. No doubt can you find no queue or no one buying.

Iam not a fan of tau sar piah but a lot of people has said that this place has the nicest tau sar piah. The old and young will be there buying, even if they make a special trip there.

I find the sweet has tasted salty and the salty, more salty. I was able to tell the difference between the 2, but now, the taste seems to be fused together. Each cost $0.50, not sure if it's the usual rate of piahs, but i find it reasonable enough.

If you are in for some sweet or salty tau sar piah, head down to this old shop, tucked at the corner of the street of shops. You can find workers hand-making each of this tau sar piah non-stop at the back of the shop, where the oven will churn out trays of hot piping piahs.

** Best to eat it while it's hot!!

This shop is the last shop of the street of shophse. If you know where the 4D shop is (@ Balestier Hill Shopping Centre), the one opposite Thomson Medical Centre. If you type the address in streetdirectory, you can find it.
