A friend of mine popped by from London yesterday so we took her for dinner and later for drinks @ Prive, Keppel Bay Drive. The view you get from the initial left turn of your car into the drive is mesmerizing, it's totally pretty and chic! The bridge is lighted up and looks aesthetically pleasing, definitely. You'll be excited and wanting to find out more about Keppel Bay when you see the bridge.

I'll describe to you the place, because I had forgotten to take pictures! Sorry!

The seats are cushion and comfortable, the waiters are really polite, accomodating and they are serve you personally (he will ask each individual person his/her order and move to the person to listen and take down the order). great for people who are rather picky about service - this place's service is excellent !

It is a 2 storeys, and Prive is located on the first floor. Parking is in the basement and you gotta pay (I  paid $3 when I stayed there fo 2 hours 01 minute so I"m assuming it's per entry after a certain time). The decor and design of the building are already impressive and I suppose you won't want to dress sloppily if you come here. Most of the people who were there today were the working people, probably after a hard day's work. You can choose to sit under shelter or in the open, on comfortable sofas. They even have private corners for couples who want privacy.

Indoors, they have a small bakery/cafe thing, part of Prive as well.

You may think the drinks here are rather pricey, but I feel, for the type of ambience, the amazing breeze, the good service and the comfortable lounges, it is rather reasonable. Soft drinks go at about $6.00 each, while different wines go at different prices, prices starting from about $15.00. Coolers are $32.00 each. I don't quite remember the menu, but there is truffled french fries for $12. (wonder how that would taste like, don't you!) The music they play is a mixture of jazz and house, and it's rather soothing, relaxing and loungey. The volume isn't loud, just nice to listen to and to hold your own conversations, it's just right, in fact.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is seeking a short unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city and to chill and relax from the stress of work. It's located just beside harbourfront, before the Carribean, and the drive is rather small, so you gotta look out for it if you're driving. Walking in is also not a bad idea, it isn't too far deep inside and I reckon taking pictures at the bridge with all the pretty lights is good enough a reason for a lot of girls to do their daily exercise.!! :)
