Today my dad's friend win 4D 3rd price. So he treat us eat Jumbo Seafood at East Coast Park.
This is the first time I tried Jumbo. I am going to give a detailed review on this restaurant.
They are located along the east coast park.
This stretch of beach, you can find a lot of seafood restaurants, like long beach fisherman's village etc.
Its just beside the cable ski center.I went on a sunday evening, the whole place were packed with people...
The restaurant is full when I reached there at 7 plus.
Our first two dishes are stir fried kai lan and fried rice...
These two dish are very normal, you can eat these at any tze char store.
Here comes the main dish of the day! Lobster sashimi!!!
From the picture on the left, there is a claypot of soup.
You can choose to eat the lobster meat raw or cooked with soup.
The sashimi is very fresh, the meat is crunchy and look at the meat inside the lobster head!
By the way, this lobster is still moving when it is being served..
We can see the legs moving!! eeeeee....
2 ways of eating the lobster, eaten raw or slightly rinse it with hot soup.
See how crystal clear the lobster meat is... Yummy!
Next on the dish is the prawns and chili crab...
The prawn is very limited consider the number of people eating.
Crab is great, the meat is fresh and it goes so well with the bun.
We ordered steam and fried buns. Its really nice to eat it with the crab gravy.
The picture on the right may seems weird.
This is steam fish, hmm I dunno what fish is this but i quite like it.
The remaining of the lobster, especially the head that has lots of meat inside are used to cook this porridge.
Wa i must say the lobster stock is best! It the stock that makes the porridge taste so nice.
I had quite a few bowls of porridge. Its really good!
Vege with scallops..The scallops is tender and juicy. I like scallops to be cooked this way.
The picture on the right is samba 'da tou' , this is also another must try!
Their 'da tou' are very fresh and the chef is very good at cooking this dish.
All the 'da tou' are not overcooked.
Because if 'da tou' is overcooked, it will shrink. Here, their ' da tou' are all very big.
Dessert and also last dish of the day..Assorted fruits to end our dinner session at Jumbo Seafood.
Overall the dinner was good. One thing I forget to mention, their service was good and they are very professional. Food here is nice especially the lobster...Seldom got the chance to eat lobster so its a wonderful dinner that day
