EVERTOP HAINANESE BONELESS CHICKEN RICE!!

This is a halal chicken rice shop that was made famous in Tanglin Halt. They apparently closed down last year and finally we found them again! My friend took me there just yesterday. Usually we'll just go to our normal favourite chicken rice shop at Clementi Interchange, but this time, he directed me to the left, and we drove into Clementi Avenue 2... and there and behold we found the shop!!

The entire shop spans like a typical coffee shop area, but it is ONE shop. yes, alot of seats, many people go to this place and eat their famous chicken rice!!

Absolutely a must try!!

I wanted more chicken and less rice because I was watching my diet (haha!) and the person taking our orders was more than happy to comply to my order. And they are really really friendly and approachable.

the shop!! :D yes, it's halal so EVERYBODY CAN EAT!!!

the rice.... not too oily, just the right taste and texture. really really good.
is this what makes the chicken rice so good? hmmm
(oh btw this is the standard size of the rice serving, mine was less like i said earlier lah haha)

CHICKEN! steamed. and the sauce... TO DIE FOR. no really, the sauce is really really really tasty.
more than usual chicken for two because of me. hahahahah
but they are happy to do it for me. so yep. extra points for that!!

and veggies. hahaha we need veggies to be healthy yeah!
again. :D wonderfully seasoned.

their hospitality is amazing and it's great to eat at a place like that.
the prices are normal, mid-range... not too expensive but i don't think it's that cheap either.
err i didn't pay for it but it was about 11 dollars for two?

their speciality is chicken rice so don't expect porridge or anything like that okay? haha
Hainanese chicken rice rocks man!!

don't come too late for dinner, because by then it would be sold out. most likely
happened to me quite a few times already. hahahaha.

because the food is gooood. SO TRY IT! :D

Try Xin Kee at Margaret Drive

I went to try Everton just last sun. I still prefer Xin Kee at Margaret Drive. Somehow Everton lost it's appeal after it moved. Very commercialised as well.
