There are 2 claypot rice stall in chinatown temp market, this is one of it - Yuan Fa Wa Bao Fan. I saw the recommended picture on the stall, so i decided to give it a try.
Looks like their business is quite good, cos the waiting time is really damn long. Took them more than half an hour to bring me my food, after 2 failed attempts to rush them. I think their service is quite bad.... The food better be good.
After much waiting, the food finally comes! The size is quite alright for two guys to eat, cost us $8 for it. One good thing about it is that i can see that they didnt take any shortcuts to cook the food, the rice and the chicken are cooked in the claypot as it is.
Well, i'd prefer that they help us put the dark soya sauce and sesame oil, cos we really have no idea how much to put, so jus "aga aga" la. Think we add a bit too much tooo :p
The rice are well cooked, same goes to the chicken and chinese sausage, which is a basic requirement. However, other than that, it is quite normal taste, just a decent claypot of rice and chicken. And definitely doesn't justify for the long waiting time! Nah, make me wait so long! Minus Points!
