Couple weeks ago, actually a month or so ago I happened to stumble across the website for this cute, cosy, feminine little cafe called Bijou @ facebook. (It actually came from an invitation to go for a gathering for dateless people. I of course didn't go with the gang!)

I like what I saw, so I dragged my aiya-lesbian partner kamjie to go with me to check out this place during mooncake festival. We sat at the alfresco area and although it was situated near some condominiums, it was quiet and when night fell, there was chirping of crickets and croaking of frogs/toads. Honestly I miss this nature orchestra where I used to hear during my kampung childhood times.

Anyway, back to the food, we ordered some steamed fish & roast duck. Both were delicious with a huge "D"! The drinks were so-so only... The price, a tad on the high side but hey, I LOVEEEE this place because the ambience is just way too nice!

I would have taken more pictures of Bijou because I love the interior (which I must admit inspired me to give my blog a facelift), however, the waitress wouldn't allow me. :'(

By the way, they are nice enough to let us have mooncakes at their premises hohohoho~ So the service is A-OK! winkz
